NDIS Plan and Payment Integration
How does the NDIS payment process work in the marketplace?
When you register for an account, we verify the validity of your NDIS plan using your surname, NDIS Number, and Date of Birth. This verification is also repeated before checkout to ensure we have the most current details. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you grant us and other NDIS-approved vendors permission to create and amend service bookings and or claims on your behalf. After adding items to your cart, you can review your purchases and payment methods before placing an order. Clicking the "place order" button initiates the service booking and or claims process, which will debit your plan upon successful transactions. Any failed transactions will be listed in the orders section, along with reasons for the failure and the option to retry payment using a different method.
Can I pay for products and services using my NDIS plan funds?
At this stage, you can only pay for products under $1500 on your NDIS plan but not services, keep an eye out for service listings coming soon.
What happens if my NDIS plan balance is insufficient to cover my purchase?
If your service booking or claim is rejected due to insufficient funds or no available funding, the items can be added back into your cart for checkout using a different payment method. If you suspect there is an issue with your funding level or category allocation, you need to contact the NDIA directly, as Plan Access and Platorm Approve NDIA vendors do not have access to your plan details or funding arrangements
