Calagin Calcium Alginate Haemostatic Dressing (5 x 5cm, Sterile, 10/Box) is a natural, seaweed-derived wound dressing for managing small-to-moderate bleeding wounds. On contact with exudate or blood, the alginate fibres absorb moisture and release calcium ions that promote rapid clot formation, while the gel that forms creates a protective moist environment over the wound without adhering to the wound bed.
